Help. I currently have an ipod and PC. I just bought a ibook G4 and would like to transfer my music and itunes to the G4. Is this possible
you can link both computers with an inexpensive network hub, make sure you turn on PC file sharing on the iBook unde the network system preferences and on the PC under network properties., then go to network neighborhood on the PC, the iBook should show up there. log into the iBook and find your user folder, inside there should be a music folder, and inside an iTunes music folder, copy the content of your PC iTunes Music folder into the iBook iTunes Music folder.
Then select all your music in the folder and drag and drop it in iTunes. iTunes will reorganize your music.
This is the best options if you have different types of music files (mp3, AAC, etc)
An easier but time consuming tast will be do to a full back up of your music under iTunes in the PC to CD's, then import the back up CD's in your iBook. iTunes will span your library into several discs asking you to insert the next disc over and over again until your whole library is backed up. Then you need to copy all these files into the iTunes music folder and import them into iTunes
