String Quartet Tribute to Foo Fighters
Looking for something different to feed your iPod with? How about a string quartet tribute to the Foo Fighters?While so many musicians have petered out over the years, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters have managed to lay waste to any preconceived notions of what success means in this day and age. Forget about sophomore slumps, critical failures and artistic misfires; they do not apply when it comes to the Foo. For more than a decade, Grohl and company have been churning out some of the most amazing songs to hit the airwaves.
In honor of this incredible career, Vitamin Records has released a string quartet tribute to the boys in Foo called Ordinary Heroes. Rockers and weepers alike are given their due and transformed into sweeping string arrangements. For fans of the Foo, this quartet is willing to bleed it out, note for note.
