The actual problem with Caruso's acting is that no one on this planet would ever speak like that and use those mannerisms. I've met a lot of people in my life, some good, some bad, but nobody ever acted like that. He's not acting naturally; he's an over-emoting hack.

To me David Caruso is super...,
I like his style very much. In Europe CSI-Miami is very popular and better than the other CSI-series. Horatio Caine is a great policeman and crime scene investigator. Congratulations David Caruso

David Caruso is a joke. NYPD Blue's first season (and the first part of season two, before he left) were ok, but not thanks to Caruso. When Jimmy Smits showed up, the show really took off. It's amazing to me that the guy gets any work.

im a massive fan of david caruso!! i can see where some of you are coming from!! but he does it with style!! when i was younger (many years ago) i had a babysitter who used talk with her head tilted sideways slightly!! she used to tell me and my brothers that it was a habit she picked up!! there ARE people out there who have the same mannerisms as horatio but not because of horatio, you just got to open your eyes to see them!!!! i have a photo of my grandad in his younger years stood posing with his hands on hips, like horatio!!! he never did it all the time, just for that photo!!!

OK David, now look at the floor; now stare at your sunglasses in your hands; now turn away from whoever is speaking to you; gaze out the window, now turn 90 degrees, say three words, and THEN look up; then put on your glasses; turn sideways again, stare again at the floor; shift your weight from foot to foot, make a pose like a statue; then repeat this action over and over again for ALL of the shows, and you wonder why he looks like a conceited overinflated egotistical axxhole! Had my laptop on the table as i was watching csi maiami and rigth after the show was done i logged on and google`d "David Caruso bad acting" to see if any other disliked his way of acting. I can realy see anything wrong with CSI Maiami, ok cases, ok actors ecsept David Caruso he takes all the focus away from the show and pulls it to him, when he askes his coworkers if they have found somthing, and as they show it to him he finds somthing new and comes with a bad line as he`s posing like hell drawing every fokus from the case and the coworkers making the show all about him. CSI is supose to be teamwork not a 1 man job. when we look at csi we (the viewer`s) are supose to look at this show and feel like we are looking at a real case. David Caruso would fit as an private investigator, working alone but as a member of a csi team he just dont fit inn. i hope they replace him soon or make him lose more and more of the coky aditude, bad lines/poses elc.
