BlackBerry iPhone Theme
Got iPhone envy? I do. My company is Blackberry only and won't support the iPhone. So I installed the free "bPhone for BlackBerry" theme.

It reskins all your Blackberry icons with iPhone icons and even replaces the hourglass with the OS X spinning beach ball.
You can install the bPhone theme here if you are reading this on your phone right now or check out the author's website here.
Here's an install step-by-step:

Wish I read this prior... Blew up my 8703.. Spinning hourglass oh how I long for you to stop (its been two days now... Perhaps one more day will do it)
so far this worked well on my curve. "knock on wood". Hope nothing happens to my phone in the future. As of right now my phone works fine and the theme is actually pretty cool.
Installed the bphone theme about 3 weeks ago. It worked and looked fantastic until today when i was adjusting folders, the phone froze and I could only bring up my call log. I brought it to verizon and they said it was for sure broken. Thats why you shouldn't be a poser, and just rock your crackberry the way it is, like a true fan.
hey i was wondering.. isit worth downloading? i have a blackberry curve 8300 and i wanted this theme for the longest time.. but after reading all these comments im kind of double minded.. does it really destroy your phone?? should i not download it?
Ive downloaded the bhone theme love

Downloaded all 3 8100 themes and they work great! No problems here. The theme originators website states the specific OS versions you need or warns your phone will crash. Do your homework you fools!!!!!
ive had 3 Curves the past couple years (i keep dropping them).
this bphone theme installed fine each time.
zero issues with the Curve. im 100% satisfied. 5 stars. A+

I have this theme and I think it works great!
If the theme starts deleting your messages and call longs it's because your phone doesn't have enough memory to support the theme application as well as keep call log historys and text messages. You can free up memory on your phone by one of two ways:
The first way is to delete pictures or ringtones you may have taking up space on your phone and if you can't part with your pictures, then you need to expand your media memory. You can do so by Media>>Click the blackberry icon>>choose options>>device memory limit. change this to the highest limit available.
The other way to free up memory is by deleting applications you don't use on the device. You can do so by options>>advanced options>>applications.
By viewing this list you can see all of the applications that run on your blackberry (kind of like pressing ctrl+alt+delete on a computer). Scan through the applications and delete the ones you do not use (i.e. if you dont use AIM there is no reason you should have the app. on your phone).
Also, removing the battery from your device can free up some space on your battery as well. It's like a computer it needs to be restarted every once in a while to function properly!
This should help free up space on your berry whenever it starts deleting your call logs and messages. =)

I am replying to the poster about the pearl deleting messages before u can read them. My gf had this same problem. I fixed it by reprogramming the phone. Verizon *228 and selecting options 1 and 2. And also I cold reset the phone (taking the battery out for a minute.) And that seemed to cure it. If that helps I'm glad if it don't I'm sorry I couldn't help you more.
i just downloaded it for the curve and no problems as of this moment....so it should be ok to download.
i cant do it!! i type in my email, click the link from my blackberry and download the file. i reboot my phone but then i cant find preferences or the theme! how do i do it??
