Occasionally an iPod or iPhone may freeze or fail to respond to your commands. This can happen for a number of reasons and does not necessarily indicate a serious problem. Sometimes they just need a restart much like the way your computer needs a reset once in a while.

After spending hours on the Apple website searching for help with a never ending "Do not Disconnect" message - I found your website - Within minutes my problem was solved- easy to understand directions - and they worked.

just wanted to thank you all for this website. My IPOD suddenly stopped working and I had no idea how to fix it. Your quick easy to understand instructions on resetting my iPod allowed me to stop chucking things around my office in a fit of rage because I was without music piped into my ears. You saved several valuable items from breakage and allowed me to get back to work and make a few extra bucks due to high morale.

thanks guys, like others I appled and googled for a while, then seen this site, took less than 10 seconds to reset my ipod without loosing everything. Will deffinately recomand this site to my friends with ipods.

Thank you so much for helping me. I bought a 20 gig ipod from a pawn shop when my 80 gig got stolen, but yesterday when the battery died and i plugged it into my computer it wouldnt turn on.. then i read you post about reseting it. when i held the menu and enter button it miraculously turned on...i love you guys..thanks again
