Rare Pirate Bay Interview
The man behind the project, Gottfrid Svartholm ("anakata"), is now facing copyright charges. Gottfrid is rather shy and tends to stay out of the spotlight. However his fight with the Swedish authorities has given him no choice.
Here's a rare TV interview with Gottfrid I found on YouTube.

Horribly biased reporting. Personally I could care less if the guys at the Pirate Bay make billions of dollars. They are offering a service to the world, they damn deserve it. It doesn't make them greedy money driven hounds, it makes them smart.
I dunno about everyone else but this whole Pirate-Bay-in-the-Public-Spotlight stuff kindof makes me uncomfortable. If these guys try to argue their case to a mainstream audience they're going to get crucified by the but-it-stealing posse. I dunno, it seems almost suicidal on TPB's part. Wish they'd go back to quietly doing their thing on the low down and keeping all the PR stuff small and directed towards their core audience, if anything.
