Power Poles - Coming to An Airport Near You
One of the biggest hassles about flying, is finding a spare wall outlet to recharge your gadgets. Empty wall outlets are almost never near gate seats and when you do find one, it's usually taken. However, the search for a power outlet to recharge your iPod, laptop or cellphone just got a whole lot easier. Major cities are slowing starting to add "Power Poles" outside of boarding gates. For example, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has added "power poles" to all major New York area airports including La Guardia, Kennedy and Newark. Newark International Airport has over 50 power poles alone.
In most cases, airport power poles are sponsored by advertisers, like Samsung, and provide free recharging services. And based the image below, power poles are also a great place to meet girls.

Such poles are already in. I have seen them in many airports. These are also called the charging corners in several places.
