Texas Cop Tasers 72-Year-Old Grandmother [video]
Think old people tend to get away with everything? Maybe, but not in Texas. On May 11, Kathryn Winkfein was pulled over in Austin by Travis County Constable Deputy Chris Bieze for speeding. The 72-year-old great-grandmother was allegedly driving 60 mph in a 45 mph speed zone.
The officer's dashboard camera caught the entire incident on tape. During the traffic stop, Winkfein can be heard arguing with the officer and refusing to sign the speeding ticket. The grandmother then dares the officer to shoot her with the taser as she tries to get back into her car. That's when the officer fired the taser to subdue the grandmother and bring the situation under control. Take that Grandma!
The video was released to refute statements by Winkein that she had done nothing to provoke being tasered by police. And guess what? The video has become an Internet sensation. It's tough to resist clicking on a link that says Texas Cop Tasers 72-Year-Old Grandmother [video].

There is no reason to taser an old frail woman, they should taser him by the balls. If that was my grandma, mother, wife, or daughter, I would see that this did not go un-punished. There would be massive letter campaigns, signature sheets thousands deep, lobbying to local, state, and federal gov for this losers dismissal. How on earth did she need this, was he too weak to restrain her, was she a danger, or resisting arrest? No, he's a douche bag and will burn in/if the afterlife.
Grandma may have acted badly, loudly, screaming, all of which I hope police have to deal with daily. I would have rather the officer called for back up, he could have used his size to make the older woman behave and if she did run it isn't like they didn't know where she lived. There is no reason to taser someone over a speeding ticket.
Like most fat cops who are sexually inadequate he used the power of his office to give him an enhanced sense of his own masculinity. Most fat cops were bullied and teased when they were children. They take it out on people who are powerless to resist them. There is no reason why this incident escalated- except that the cop enjoyed pushing the woman around. Had he had any brains he would have spoken softly and respectfully and the woman would have driven away. He did not have to force the issue.
