We found this screengrab on Reddit this morning. Apparently the person who quit was unhappy with his job and chose to inform the company via a custom Macintosh OS X application.
Assumetehposition, a former co-worker of the guy who quit, submitted the screengrab to Reddit and posted the following explanation in the comments thread.
“He believed he was in a temp-to-hire position, and after three months of extra hours and butt-kissing, turns out it’s just a temp position. He was a good worker too. I’d have recommended him. Too bad he burned his bridges… Obviously he had contemplated quitting long enough to make this thing, but still refused to speak to anyone about his feelings. Ironically, he complained about the ‘divas’ at his last job.”
What do you think? Diva designer? Passive-aggressive? Regardless of what really happened, we still think it’s a pretty clever way to quit.
