5647772721 6d7699cfae Turn Your iPhone Photos into a Comic Book with the Halftone App [review]Looking something fun to do with all you Easter and Passover photos? Try Halftone. This $0.99 iPhone app turns your photos into vintage looking comic book frames. First the app has you pick your paper style (taped, water damaged, etc.). Once you have the paper style set, then you can add a variety of captions to your images. Finally, the Halftone app adds a halftone-style printing effect to your photos to give them a unique, vintage look.

With 21 paper styles, two caption styles, six different speech balloon styles, nine built-in layouts and the ability to choose a font (including the standard comic book font called Digital Strip), photos can be customized, then shared via e-mail Facebook or Twitter. Hell, you can and even print them. You know that children’s book idea you’ve been sitting on? Maybe it’s time to get off you ass and get to work.

If you take any good pictures, then please share them on the MethodShop Facebook Wall with a link back to this article: http://bit.ly/halftone-app

You can buy Halftone from the iTunes App Store here. Have fun!

It’s a good application but 99cents seems so expensive for this.

99cents seems expensive for a simple photo filter.
