Yuck! According to this infographic by Keeping It Kleen, 16% of all smartphones have poop on them. Although shocking, it might not be all that surprising… especially if you frequently hear coworkers playing Angry Birds Space inside a bathroom stall at work.
House training household pets, like dogs, is a lot of work. But with multiple daily bathroom needs, you’re given plenty of opportunity to properly train them.
However, the caretakers at the Aviarios del Caribe sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica, have their work cut out for them. Sloths only go to the bathroom once a week. So “Potty Training” them kind of becomes a big event where everyone, caretakers and sloths, need to be focused.
In this video, Clare, Chief Sloth Wrangler at the sloth sanctuary, explains what her and her team have to go through when potty training baby sloths. Our favorite quote: “You can take a sloth to the poo pole, but you can’t make him poo.” Enjoy!
If you’re currently in a relationship, I hope you made plans for this week. Like it or not, Wednesday is February 14th (aka Valentine’s Day).
If you haven’t made plans yet, the good news is Social Media might help you save Valentine’s Day… at least if you take this Socialnomics Valentines Day video seriously.
If you’re still looking for Valentine’s Day ideas, then you might like Lab 42‘s infographic. They polled 400 Social Media users from Facebook and MySpace about their relationships and compiled a neat little inforgraphic just in time for Valentine’s Day.
I wonder why “man flowers” (aka a six-pack of beer) didn’t make the list of the most popular Valentine’s Day gifts. In case you’re curious, the top 3 Valentine’s Day gifts are (in order): dinner, chocolate and flowers.
Enjoy the the infographic. Have fun this week. And if you’re not into the whole Valentine’s Day thing, then this might cheer you up: Dramaic Reading of a Breakup Letter [video].
Having problems with people stealing your lunch? If you work in an office with a shared refrigerator, then you’ve probably encountered this unfortunate situation before.
The only way to prevent lunch theft is if your lunch either sucks, or is moldy. But who says the mold has to be real? These anti-theft Ziploc bags are genius. There’s a green pattern on the plastic bad that looks like mold. No one will ever steal your sandwich again.
Now you just have to worry about the cleaning staff tossing your lunch in the trash when they clean the fridge.
As your iTunes Library grows, you will probably lose track of exactly what music you have already imported and end up with duplicate songs and video files. You might accidentally import a CD twice or add files from BitTorrent. Or maybe a friend with a big Terabyte hard drive “loaded you up” with a lot of music recently.
Here are a few tips and techniques on how to get rid of duplicate songs in your iTunes Library as well as some precautions you should take before deleting duplicate tracks.
Do you have a nice spread ready for Super Bowl Sunday? After seeing this picture, you might want to think about upping your game. We found this Super Bowl-sized “monument to meat” on Pinterest! OMG! We love this video. French humorist, Rémi Gaillard, dressed as a human radar tower and started photographing various moving objects like planes, trains and automobiles. His costume was good enough that the average passing motorist probably thought they were getting a speeding ticket. Who knows, he might have saved some lives by encouraging people to slow down.
However, the police obviously didn’t think so. Remi gets busted when he tries to photograph a passing police car. Watching him try to run away from the cops in his cardboard costume is priceless! Enjoy!
